nayrt but yeah like on one hand, the implication is unfortunate

and on the other hand, if a trans woman and a trans man have a public relationship, unless both of them "pass" really well, they are gonna get side-eyed by the str8s just as much as any other non-cishet couple would

in a perfect world that would not be the case, but we do not live in a perfect world. i am uncomfortable with the cissexist implications as well as the trans exclusion. it's a no-win situation, unfortunately

If neither of them passed they wouldn't be side eyed, and a cis woman/gnc cis man or the other way around would also be side eyed.

It's still m/f, public people's response doesn't matter because people will side eye you for wearing a fluffy pink ball on your hat if you're masc passing, and also I hope you're not cis because if you are, you trying to use trans people as an excuse to insert m/f into a kink meme that's explicitly for non-m/f couples is low.

ayrt i'm not trying to insert anything into anything lmao i understand why the policy has to be the way it is, i'm just saying it's a shit situation to begin with. i feel bad for the mod having to make the decision

for the record i am trans and i get side-eyed no matter what kind of relationship i'm in since i rarely pass as either end of the binary and when i do i never pass as straight. i just kind of agree with op anon above, "People want to see relationship dynamics and bodies that resemble their own within fandom" but i see why things are the way that they are. i just hate that we are being driven to this

NAYRT

This is also not the only Fallout kink meme, as pointed out above - and AFAIK, there's nothing excluding M/F with trans characters on the other kink meme. I agree it is a shitty situation, since I also don't pass myself and I know what it feels like to be side-eyed no matter what you do or who your partner is (even when people just assume I'm GNC but cis)... but it's not that trans M/F is excluded from Fallout fandom (or even Fallout kink meme) entirely, just in this spinoff comm.

ayrt of course there is no rule explicitly excluding trans characters, in an m/f pairing or otherwise, on the other kmeme. but let's not pretend it's a welcoming environment thanks to the userbase, and let's also not pretend that a big part of the reason this new meme even exists is in response to that hostile/exclusionary atmosphere. i know the whole "gay wasteland" falling out played a large role too, but the cishet straight brigade heralded it all and still exists as a common enemy

there's also the fact that the fkm mod disappeared like two months ago so it's currently a godless anarchy lol. it's just... when you have meme A and meme B, and A is cesspit despite all efforts, and B is pitched as an alternative to A, it's just not a legitimate solution to say to people who are looking to escape all that to "just go back to meme A if you have a problem," y'know?

i really appreciate all of the people, mods and average users alike, who are trying their best to make things right for the fandom. we've got ourselves a real post-apocalyptic mess to sort through and i know most of us just want to be able to enjoy our fandom
