A request for when you do make a pinboard archive, could you make a dedicated tag for nb ships instead of having them fall under f/f / femslash or m/m / slash like on the FKM? It feels really really awful having to misgender a nb character just for the sake of a ship tag and it's one of the reasons I've distanced myself from the FKM lately. I'd suggest using "themslash" as a general tag for any ships with nb characters regardless of the gender of their partner(s), that seems to be the most popular shorthand for nb ships as far as I've seen.

That works even better than my suggestion, thank you.

Themslash is so othering.

the person proposing themslash is someone who goes by they/them pronouns

i agree tbh

nb/whatever is good but themslash as a term is gross.

i go by they/them and always thought 'themslash' was a cute play on words :/

like, 'slash' implies m/m and femslash is femslash, and 'them' is literally the pronoun i use as a nb individual, so... idk i just thought it was cute and liked having a term that specifically referenced nb/nb relationships.

not saying you're wrong or that your feelings aren't just as valid as mine, because they are. i'm just a bit confused and maybe i don't get out much. maybe some connotations going over my head? (if any anon feels up to explaining why they feel othered by it, that'd be great? as it's still a pretty esoteric term and thus not that easy to google around for...)
